JAŸ-Z30 BRINGS SOLD-OUT LOS ANGELES CELEBRATION TO A CLOSE WITH SECOND NIGHT AT SOFI STADIUM FEATURING TOO $HORT, SNOOP DOGG, AND DR. DRE
On Saturday, October 24, JAŸ-Z returned to SoFi Stadium for the sold-out second and final night of his JAŸ-Z30 Los Angeles celebration. Following Friday’s sold-out opening performance, the iconic artist took the stage for another night of music spanning his groundbreaking three-decade career. The Los Angeles shows follow sold-out performances in New York, London and Paris.
JAŸ-Z kicked off the evening with “The Watcher 2” before bringing Oakland rap legend Too $hort to the stage for “Blow the Whistle.” He kept the momentum going with “Izzo (H.O.V.A.)” before transitioning into “Beach Is Better.”
JAŸ-Z honored the legacy of the late Nipsey Hussle by incorporating elements of “Hussle & Motivate” into “Hard Knock Life” and “On to the Next One,” which also featured the instrumental from “Last Time I Checc’d.” He surprised the crowd by bringing out Snoop Dogg for “Murder Was the Case” before welcoming Dr. Dre to the stage alongside Snoop for a run of West Coast classics, including “The Next Episode,” “California Love,” “Nothin’ but a ‘G’ Thang” and “Still D.R.E.” He closed out the night with a final run of fan favorites, performing “Empire State of Mind” and “Big Pimpin’” before delivering “Public Service Announcement (Interlude)” and “Encore” to bring the evening to a close.
Lizzo, Kelly Rowland, Vanessa Bryant, Yo Gotti, DJ Khaled, Tiffany Haddish, Anthony Andersson, Jessica Alba, Aleali May, Alyssa Milano, B2K, Schoolboy Q, Snoh Aalegra, Ab-Soul, Dan Reynolds, Hit-Boy, Wizkid, Corey Gamble, and Keith Powers were among the star-studded guests spotted in attendance for the final night of the two-night celebration.
Throughout the evening, JAŸ-Z sported all looks, featuring bespoke ensembles designed by June Ambrose.
